One Sharp looking knife, The JG5
The JG5 will grab your attention and not let go. The stone washed black oxide finish of the blade defies the conventional look and normality of most knives, while simultaneously complimenting the earth brown “flint napped” micarta handle.
The overall blade length, coming in just shy of 5”, makes the blade sturdy enough for those aggressive tasks, but provides enough curvaceous finesse for even the most delicate tasks such as filleting fish. The chipped handle provides adequate grip and is just the right length, 4.75”, for even the biggest of hands.
Overall, I couldn’t be more pleased with this knife in regards to form and function. Once I got a grip on this tool, it simply made me want to go do something outdoors, whether preparing tinder for a fire or skinning an animal.
